Overview

This is a one year full-time course for school leavers interested in a career in any uniformed service, eg Army, Navy, RAF, Prison/Probation Service, Fire or Police.

Students will study the following areas/units on this course: Investigate Employment Opportunities in the Uniformed Services, Well-being and Physical Fitness, Develop Team Working Skills, lf-Discipline and Development, Crry Out Essential Map Reading

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are 2 GCSE at Grade E/2 or above or an Entry 3 qualification.

This Level 1 course is a nationally-recognised qualification, designed to give learners a good understanding of the working practices of and skills and aptitudes required by all of the main Public Services. Following this programme, you may wish to seek employment, or progress onto a Level 2 in Uniformed Services.
