Building on the skills you learned on your level 2 carpentry and joinery course, you will further develop your skills to allow you to work as a site carpenter or joiner or want to go into the management of a site in the future. As a student at NWSLC, you are not required to pay material fees. You will only need to obtain your own PPE kit, which includes overalls and steel toe cap boots. However, we might be able to support you with funding for your PPE equipment, just get in touch with us.
Communication and structures within the construction industry; Building knowledge and construction technology; Learners will also carry out basic block and bricklaying skills and cavity walling projects
Completion of carpentry qualification or equivalent.
