This course is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to work in the front of house area of Hospitality at Supervisor level. It is designed to develop and enhance food and drink service skills along with their supervisory skills.
These qualifications can help you to progress in a wide range of hospitality roles including Bar staff and bar supervision, Restaurant staff and restaurant supervision. Modules include prepare and serve cocktails, wines and food in a food service area, advising customers on matching beverages with food, barista skills, food and beverage service legislation as well as supervisory principles. You will also undertake assessments supervising work within our award winning college restaurant as part of your qualification to give real work experience.
Entry requirements are a relevant Level 2 qualification or 2-3 years of recent industry experience plus a reference and successful interview.
