Overview
This course is for you, if you are already working in a professional kitchen or restaurant and want to develop and learn more complex, industrially relevant skills, or progress from Level 1 Catering & Hospitality qualifications. Other opportunities include competition work, to help develop your skills and enable you to cope with working under pressure, as well as having a bigger role within our real working environments cooking and serving more refined dishes and beverages.
Details
Modules include extensions of what is covered at Level 1 to include more refined work and gives the opportunity to develop and demonstrate individual technical skills and ability. It will provide a solid foundation to progress to Level 3 courses in order to enter employment at a higher level.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements are a relevant Level 1 qualification or relevant industrial experience and employment.
Your next steps...
On successful completion of this course you may progress onto a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery.
