This course is ideal for learners who wish to broaden their knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Engineering industry with regards to repair and refitting. This Level 2 course is an additional step towards becoming a fully qualified mechanic. Students also gain an understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

3 GCSE’s at Grade E/2 or above including an Initial Assessment at interview OR Level 1 Engineering Qualification.

Your next steps...

Students may wish to progress directly into employment within the Motor Vehicle Engineering industry. Past students have become mechanics, MOT Testers and Service Technicians. Others have started their own businesses or gained employment with dealerships or breakdown services.

Alternatively, learners may wish to progress onto a higher level course or an apprenticeship.
