This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for working in a supervised role with adults in Health and Social Care settings. The course will cover a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.
4 GCSE’s at grade D/3 or above including English and Maths OR level 1 Health and Social Care and Entry 3 Functional Skills.
Students can progress onto a Level 3 Health and Social Care course or apprenticeship. Alternatively, learners may wish to progress into employment as a healthcare assistant in a wide variety of health and social care settings.
