A Level Physics builds on the modules you have already studied in GCSE Science. The GCSE physics modules are: v Energy and Electricity v Electricity v Forces v Radiation and the Universe So you have a good background in physics already and are well prepared to follow the A level course.



How will it be delivered?

Entry requirements

The standard offer for all A level programmes is 5 subject passes at Grade 5.This must include English Language and Maths. For some subjects such as Further Maths ,Science and psychology, there will be additional requirements.

A grade 6 is required in Physics, or 66 at Double Science. 

Your next steps...

You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses or to prepare for the A2 in Physics, which could lead onto higher education. With further training, you could go into a job related to Physics. The course will also help you develop general skills that many employers across lots of industries are looking for.
