The apprenticeship involves: Learning while you are employed full time. Level 2 NVQ, level 2 Certificate in Customer Service and Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number. Learning on 'Day release' at a HOET Centre or in your workplace. A programme lasting up to 18 months, however you can work at your own pace to finish sooner. You will cover the following mandatory NVQ units plus a further 5 optional units: Prepare yourself to deliver good customer service Provide customer service within the rules Customer Service NVQ's also have the option of attending our 'Excellence in Customer Service' day courses covering the following the topics: Resolve customer service problems Go the extra mile Telephone Skills Give a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
On this apprenticeship you will be completing a NVQ and a technical certificate to show off your knowledge of great customer service. You will complete units in things like dealing with difficult customers and how to speak over the telephone to customers.
Upon completion of the customer service NVQ level 2 apprenticeship, you can progress on to an advanced apprenticeship at NVQ level 3. Also, with further training, you could continue to develop your career in customer service by working as a customer service agent, shop sales assistant or more general jobs where an understanding of customer service would be useful.The course offers you a specialist work-based qualification to support a range of careers in customer service or to progress onto studying for an NVQ level 3 in Customer Service or related subjects such as Contact Centre Operations or Retail Operations. The course is work based which means you can earn and learn at the same time whilst developing the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers are looking for.
