Politics courses have been around at A-level for 30 years or more. They are well established and respected by all universities. It could lead to a career in Journalism, Law, the Police, the Civil Service, business, banking and accounting, the charity sector, think tanks and NGOs (non-governmental organisations). Students need to have a good literacy skills and have a keen interest in both reading and analysing the articles they read using a political cuttings booklet which will equip them with a clear structure in order to be able to ingest all of the information. 

Entry requirements

General entry requirements of 5 grade 4's including at least a grade 4 in the relevant subject if taken.
